Type 1 diabetic 39 is this just something I have to except or is there any solutions

It is definitely not something that you just have to accept and you should talk to your GP about it as well as talking to your partner of course.

Your diabetes can obviously impact this aspect of your health and managing your BG levels as well as possible, particularly if things are currently not so good, may improve it. It may be entirely unrelated to your diabetes though.
If you are newly diagnosed it may be a temporary issue due to high levels and the stress on your body (and mind) of the recent diagnosis and treatment.
 
The good news: ED is one of the most treatable complications of diabetes. In fact, over 95 percent of cases can be successfully treated. With proven treatments available, diabetic men with ED have options. It isn't something you—or your partner—should have to live with.
