i have now had this issue a few times.

i had something to eat yesterday a curry and then a bit later on i went on to develop a sore lower back along with aching legs and other joint pains.

just wondering if it may be diabetes related carbs too high causing a problem.

i am off to a chemist later on to get some keto sticks to rule out any ketone issues. also i do have a diabetic review coming up so will mention it then.

i am okay again this morning as i type this but am totally puzzled as to what might be going on so any input welcome.

As you have bowel problems as well, perhaps ask to check your pancreatic function (Amylase levels)

If I have a big meal, my lower back aches, happened for years. Last November I had terrible lower back ache then excruciating stomach pains. Long story short, trip to A&E and discovered I had a partial bowel blockage. Permanent unfortunately because of adhesions from my surgeries. Eat little and often for a few days, maybe reduce your fibre intake. Might be worth keeping a food diary for a while. Hope it’s nothing serious but as we say, go to GP if you’re worried.

As you have bowel problems ,I think it would be best to get it check out . It may not be connected at all better safe than sorry.
