Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
By chance, recently met a man who volunteered for a diabetes related health study. He mentioned that his daughter needed blood tests every 6 months, and went on to say it's because she has type 1 diabetes, and has been using a pump for 4 years, having found some problems with injection frequency increasing from bimodal to various types of MDI. So, good to hear an unbiased recommendation for a system that works for a young woman, although we didn't discuss any other aspects of her lifestyle - he had no idea he was talking to someone with T1D, so it would have been nosey.
