The Diabetes UK research team have asked us to share this Patient and Public Involvement Opportunity

If you live in the southeast, with diabetes (any type), and have had positive experiences of managing your condition, you can feature in videos for a new diabetes course produced by the organisation Learning With Experts, the Mayo Clinic, and the NHS. The videos will be rolled out to NHS Hertfordshire initially and then nationwide. The team are looking for 2-3 people to share their experiences on the 22nd or 23rd July. If interested, reach out to Matthew Bell at matthew@learningwithexperts.com

What does PPI mean? Presuming it’s not payment protection insurance or pixels per inch in this context.

Personal and Public Involvement. Off of the Public Health Agency website: 'PPI is the term used to describe the active and meaningful involvement of service users, carers, their advocates and the public in the planning, commissioning, delivery and evaluation of Health and Social Care (HSC) services, in ways that are relevant to them.'
Hope this helps!

Oops, sorry @Ieva DUK - I didn’t flag this request as posted. I’ve merged the 2 threads to keep the conversation together.

I’d suggest anyone interested contacts Matthew promptly as it’s not long before 22-23 July!

Thanks - think the new title is better, not sure anyone seeing a thread titled 'PPI' would think 'oh I would love to be in a video about my diabetes experiences'
