Had an interim appointment with my DN to discuss how I am getting on with the Canagliflozin. I had a repeat Hba1c done just 6 weeks after starting this med and it was down from 110 last appointment to 69 at this so she was really pleased with that in 6 weeks. Have also lost 1st 1lb in 8 weeks. She was really pleased and discussed that hopefully hba1c will be in the 50s or better at the next review and a target of losing another 1st by next review in September.

Also she tested my urine and I do not have a urine infection. She thinks the pain is just from where I am bungled up (sorry tmi)
 
Wow, what a brilliant reduction in your A1c @Grannylorraine - you must be thrilled! And fantastic weight loss too.

Wow! Great results so well done you! Have you been doing anything specific to lose the weight?

You must be so happy with your progress, amazing result and well done for losing so much weight. I am sure your result will be even better in September.

That’s brilliant, You’ve obviously worked very hard to achieve such good results .
You must be thrilled to bits with such an improvement in the Hb1ac and losing weight.
