There is a conference in Portsmouth on Saturday May 11th for people with Type1 diabetes. It will be held from 9.00am until 1.00 pm.
If you would like to attend then you need to book in advance.

Just to say that I am going to the Sweet Meet as an honorary type 1 PWD.

The Doctor who's putting this on is a twitter "friend" of mine, he's really proactive with type 1 care in the QA at Portsmouth and I think the chances for fact-finding this event can give will be great. I'm looking forward to being able to discuss stuff with the specialists in an environment outside of a clinic.

To re-iterate you do not need to be under the care of Portsmouth's QA Hospital, anyone 17 and over with type 1 diabetes can go.
