Who would have though at reaching the age of 40 you would find out that you have tootsey problems.

I saw the podiatrist last week, feet healthy, good pulse etc. However I mentioned the pains I have been experiencing for the last 3 weeks.

My right foot is very painful all the time and I have carried on walking 3 to 8 miles a day (naughty I know). I explained all the walking in FLAT shoes ( before h high high high all the time).

The podiatrist has explained I have pes cavus (high arch) feet which is extremely painful more so in my right foot and also causing the knee pain (which I put down to kneeling changing h), but is down to ditching the heels!

Can't see myself walking all the miles i do in 4 inch heels. Podiatrist has ordered me some inserts for my flat shoes and advised me to get my feet properly measured for trainer with the right sort of support.

I have high arches, in fact I couldn't walk or run properly when I was very little and had to be fitted with special shoes! Now I only ever wear trainers that have good support and don't have a problem. Hope they can get things sorted quickly Di! 🙂 Good that they spotted what it was.

Your feet must have really benefited from the early help, and you get the right trainers with support.

I'm a little shocked, but now I know what is causing the pain, and boy am I in pain. Thought it might have been tendonitis (I have it in my hands) and was why I was ignoring the pain. (Naughty).

When I think about it most trainers I used to buy had good support but my new ones were bought for me so did try on first. (Present) and have to admit to living in pumps at the moment x
