FUNDRAISERS will walk across hot coals to raise money for a diabetes charity.

The JDRF Firewalk is coming to Boringdon Park Golf Club, in Plympton on Friday, November 21, and includes full training for those taking on the red hot challenge.

JDRF has teamed up with Time 4 Change, who will be the fire masters for this event.

Firewalkers will begin the evening by attending training session, then the fire master will then lead you out onto Boringdon Park grounds, where friends and family will be able to witness you take on the path of fire.

Just seen JDRF are running this again - https://jdrf.org.uk/event/firewalk-for-type-1-diabetes-2022/

Seems way out there to me for a diabetic to do this, for a diabetic charity.

I am sure it is safe etc. but still, really? - says the person who enjoys putting her feet in stupid situations with rugby o_O

Some run marathons, others abseil down precipices. Each to their own !

I’m sure it won’t be people with diabetic foot problems that are walking over hot coals
