I just went online to see if my new script had been issued and found my HbA1c results were back.
This is what I found:
Haemoglobin A1c level - IFCC standardised (XaPbt) 45 mmol/mol
Haemoglobin A1c level (X772q) 6.3 % [4 - 5.9
Am I right in thinking this puts me back into the pre-diabetic range???
I am sure 42 mmol/mol would be in the remission area - which is where I would like to end up?
Not sure about other results as some cholesterol looks good and one not so good, but I'm more concerned with the diabetes right now.
I have been naughty this week - I did do what I promised myself I would do - and that was to go and indulge in a Greggs sausage roll - and boy did I enjoy it! lol I am going to enjoy a few indulgences now and again, but on the whole I am going to stick to my low carb way of life - there are some nice 0 carb things I now really enjoy eating, like my poached eggs which I have mastered the art of cooking now
