Hi everyone My name is Iman.1/6/2021 My son been diagnosed with diabetes it is a life changing for him. i can’t believe it . he is very sensitive , bright little boy .. i am looking for his age group with diabetes to engage with them to not let him think he is a line . i live in manchester.

Hello and welcome along from me too.
Hopefully you’ve found lots of helpful and reassuring information on the forum, particularly in the parents section.
As well as looking at the link that @everydayupsanddowns has highlighted it might be worth asking your sons diabetes team if they can help put you in touch with someone. He’s definitely not alone and neither are you, everyone will have been in this position at some point. I think it’s good for parents too, as it can all feel a little overwhelming I’m sure.
In non Covid times DUK does arrange fun days and I think even weekends for youngsters and families to meet up. Hopefully it won’t be too long before these activities can take place once again.
