on the way home from todays interview I decided to treat myself to a delicious filled jmacaron after my chilli dinner (yep - chilli again!!) - I did leave some of the jacket potato.

My readings were:

before - 9.9 (not quite sure why so high - maybe unwashed hands, maybe the 1/2 banana with yoghurt?? (although the yoghurt is usually VERY low spike)
1hr after - 7.3
2 hr after - 8.2
3 and a bit after - 6

could it be that the ground almonds in there kept the GI down?

Obviously gonna be a rare treat - rather fattening, and quite expensive!

Good results Caff. You may have been higher than usual due to the stress of the interview (hope it went well!). Although I have no idea what a jmacaron is  Jacket potato with macaroni cheese?
