Hi everyone, harry has been invited to his first school birthday party at one of these run around like a headless chicken play centres !!

Does anyone have any advice on what to do regarding him being that active in such a short space of time. Should I take him off his pump whilst he is there , though he is on very very small hourly basal rates at the moment .

Oh god, this diabetes lark send me potty sometimes !!

Thanks
Helen

I usually check BG before the party begins and top up with a jelly baby if/as needed, I find it easier to manage than dropping basal by "x" amount for a short space of time.
Make sure the pump and tubing are well secure too 🙄
