Made a fathead pizza for tea. And for pud we have some 85% choccy truffles.🙂
Only issue is, the pizza has glued itself to the parchment paper. Hope there's no carbs in parchment paper.:D

Mmmmmm....truffles! :D Slurp! 😱 I would not be able to control myself! 😱 Good job you didn't use rice paper for the pizza! 🙂

What is a fathead pizza!!
(The titles of your posts always make me want to read them!)

It's an American recipe & the name Fathead comes from a TV programme apparently. The base is made from grated mozzarella, cream cheese, 1 egg & almond flour. It's an amazing low carb base that actually holds the topping so picking it up isn't a problem (unlike the cauli pizza base) I'll put the recipe up on the recipe forum.

Now that's a good idea.:D

I'll have a pizza please, send my truffles to Amigo.

I am having a go at making fathead pizza tonight. Excited!
I made one last week & the dough was very sticky. I'm sure the first one I made wasn't as sticky. But once cooked it was fine.

Well I made it. The dough wasn't sticky at all. It made a very big pizza. It looked amazing and tasted good, but I found it very heavy. I suppose I am not used to feeling that full these days.
My husband LOVED it.

It is very filling. I only had 1 slice & that was enough. I had another slice for breakfast.:D

That recipe looks amazing. Definitely going to give that a go. Thanks for the inspiration Mark!

There are lots of other things this pastry can be used for including sausage rolls, pasties & even cinnamon rolls apparently.
