Pirates take over Romford supermarket for Diabetes UK

Shoppers were served by Blackbeard, Captain Hook and Charlotte de Berry at the weekend when supermarket staff became pirates in the name of charity.

Tesco Roneo Corner was transformed into the Jolly Roger to raise money for Diabetes UK, the store’s chosen charity of the year.

Children were able to sit in a pirates galleon and have their photos taken and find the buried treasure to win some tasty fruit.

" TESCO" are doing some great things for Diabetes UK. During the weekend of "The Big Collection" The staff near me were rowing to Brazil on a rowing machine in there store. They are good people 😉
