Hi Phil, welcome to the forum 🙂 How has your care been so far? Have they put you on any medication or diet and exercise only for now?

Hi-All three! having difficulty with diet and exercise! especially exercise!

It can be difficult initially - you need to find something you enjoy, can do without too much notice or disruption, and can do regularly. A lot of people find a 30 minute walk each day is a great help.

Hi Phil

Welcome to the forum.

Hello Phil, I agree with the comment on exercise. As little as 30mins per day will make all the difference. It has for me within just four months of diagnosis (I'm now a diet & exercise controlled type 2).

Hi Phil,

You will soon realise that diet is the most powerful means of dealing with your Type 2 condition. My advice is to cut back on the starchy carbohydrate that you eat - i.e. cereals, bread, potatoes, pasta, rice, pizza etc.

Best wishes - John
