does anybody suffer from this?

recently, every time I wake up, I have numbness and/or pins and needles in my hands. is this a sign of neuropathy? has anybody suffered this, or been given medication to sort it out? if it is a complication of Diabetes, how have you dealt with it or what do you do to manage it?

has it gone away?

thanks x

Pop along to your GP for a diagnoses. I wouldn't mind betting it's something call carpal tunnel syndrome

Quite possibly. I've had similar problems in my right hand, not necessarily just at night, and my GP advised wearing a brace (£15.99 from chemist!). It helps to an extent, and the problem comes and goes. It has nothing to do with D, just a very common ailment (if that's what yours is, @hellbell84).

Sounds a bit like Carpal Tunnel to me I had nearly 30 years ago in pregnancy, I was not a Diabetic then.
