Experimented tonight with my frozen cooked apples. I used the Jamie Oliver sweet short pastry - 500g flour, 100 gram icing sugar and 250g cold butter and grated lemon. I substituted the 100g icing sugar with my new friend 100g Eriythritol and sprinkled Inulin on top. 30 min in the oven and it was really good, no funny taste and nicely coloured on top. only had a top to the pie so about 200g flour and the 2 of us ate about 1/3 between us, so about 60g pastry, so about 10g carbs each.(i'm ignoring the apple (sweetened with splenda))
