(Adapted from Pain by Johnny Cash)

Been awake for nearly two hours with some of the worst phantom pain I have experienced! No idea why as didn't push the exercises with the prosthetic and BG in range. I am hoping the pain killers come in soon as I am drowsy but every time I start to drift off I am jolted into wakefulness! Apparently C21H22NO5 really knocks it on the head but it's a road best not travelled!

Hi @MikeyBikey. I'm Thomas, I'm new to the rooms. It's hard to imagine what you must be going through. I hope you got some sleep last night. Keep turning to Cash when life gets you down. Help is out there if you need it. When I struggle to sleep at night I like to think about all the people up with me: the doctors and nurses, the writers and musicians; people with the great and good on their mind.

If ever you need to vent so late at night do you know you can call the Samaritans? Their number is 116 123.
