Just got a NHS letter saying do not attend you eye screening in March we will rearrange it at a later date.

Thing is I never got an appointment sent anyway but at least they are thinking of me :D

If I were you I would ring the number on the letter to query, as they are supposed to be prioritising those newly diagnosed, amongst those at high risk.

you have got the phantom letter i keep getting a phantom NHS phone call. answered it first time around and no body spoke and today it was the same number

I had a text one Thursday in September reminding me not to forget my appt on the Saturday - well I couldn't forget something I never knew about, could I? Rang to check on the Friday, I asked Is it my flu vaccine - yes - so I asked when Pete was getting his then, with him being older for starters and having COPD? - his was at the same time - but he'd not had the appt or the remdr on his mobile!

We both received a/another remdr after about another half hour though.

It's the thought that counts. I have had nothing from them.

I have actually got an appointment for my covid jab on the 4th of Feb, so they do care.

You can ring your local Retinopathy service and ask what's happening. When I say local, it may not be very local - we're slightly north of Coventry which last time I crossed the border this morning was still in West Midlands, whereas we live c 150ys into Bedworth in Warwickshire - our service used to be based in Rugby - but now based in Worcester!

Hehe! made me smile @Maca44

The last I heard, this was the planned running-order for eye screening restarts
