Shortly I am to have a PET scan. This involves a sugary substance fed by a annul which will spike my Blood Glucose levels. I posted this on General Message board but no seems to have seen it. So trying another thread.
Has anyone had one of these done and any advice would be welcome.
Thank you.

Can't help myself but I hope you get some responses this time. Is there anybody out there who has had this type of scan????

Your original post had 53 views so my guess would be that those that viewed it haven't gone through it and had no advice to offer xx

There is usually an advice sheet that would come with your appointment letter. There is often something specific for people with diabetes but if not then I would ring and ask.

OK. thanks for your responses. I am due to get a letter pre visit which may include notifications...
