I am due a PET scan soon. You are dosed with high sugar chemicals pre scan and they asked if I was diabetic. I said I was pre diabetic but kept my BG levels down and they said it will be ok because the high sugar can obviously raise your BG to 11 mmol. Anybody know different or have any advice please? Thank you.
