A new study suggests that many people in the UK with epilepsy are not seeking medical intervention for the condition ? even in cases where appropriate care could save their lives.
An Epilepsy Life Project research team lead by Dr Rohit Shankar, consultant in adult developmental neuropsychiatry at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, looked at epilepsy death records in the county for the period from 2004 to 2012.
