I think stopping you may be discrimination- I’m not 100% sure

Usually if it's a blanket policy it's discrimination.
But if it's an individual, and for a specific reason, it not not be, and it can be dependent on the job as well.
 
all I know is that I'm to find t travel and I'm trying to get them to see that.
I assume the traveling doesn't involve driving.
They should do a risk assessment for the particular situation as it applies to you.
If you are a member of any Union they may be able to advise you or the Diabetes.uk helpline.
