I think this Peer Support will be a big hit. How many times do we all moan that our GP's/counsellers/medical professionals just don't get it??

Will be great knowing that if I need to, there's someone on the phone who actually knows what they're talking about (not reading from a text book) and who is likely to be able to empathise.

Well done DUK for setting this up.

And Faith - I think you should be the first of us here to try it out!!

Many thanks for your input Sazzeroo and Alan. I know I can always turn to certain people on here by pm but it's now time to get on with it myself I think (Saz - your idea I will follow-up, thank you).

Found this and know in my area they are proving quite good, hope it may be of help Faith. x

Thanks Joe, Was reading about it the other day, sounds like a great idea and something I have wanted for many years. Thanks

Faith - well done for posting, don't feel embarrassed, we all need to talk sometimes, and everyone here can understand how you feel unlike many professionals. I hope you manage to find a more helpful counsellor x
