Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
Is my memory wrong here, but hadn't his name used to be rolled out as 'one of the well known sports people with Type 1 diabetes' ? So I just Googled him - and nowt about D. Drink, drugs and gambling oh yes.
 
Ah yes - was/is indeed Gary Mabbutt. Another random sportsman whose name I've heard but I wouldn't recognise if I walked into him.

Just had a sort of 'Don't I know his name?' - isn't he that chap ...... ? Don't follow football to that extent and never intended to even though my first father in law not only supported the Villa but also talent spotted for them whilst he was doing his hobby refereeing amateur league matches. Hence his son also supported them so I had to when necessary.
