An investigation is underway after a patient had the wrong eye lasered by blundering medics at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
The incident has been classed as a ?never event? - something that should never happen.
A spokesman for Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said: ?A patient who required laser treatment to the left eye received treatment to the right eye in error.
