Good morning everyone! 🙂

My name is Rachael and I am a PhD candidate from the Department of Psychology at Maynooth University in Ireland. As part of the requirements for my PhD I have been researching sleep timing and type 2 diabetes. I have just started a new study looking to explore the social and other factors that impact sleep timing in people with type 2 diabetes, who are either retired or not currently working (aged 40+), in a little more detail. I am recruiting participants from Ireland and the UK and would really appreciate if anyone here would consider participating.

This study involves all participants completing a short survey which asks for a few demographic details and some details on sleep timing which can be found here: https://maynoothpsychology.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_79EHJ99LIE0Q1FQ . This survey should take no more than 15-20 minutes. As part of the survey you will be asked to share your email address and a few participants will be contacted about a follow up interview over zoom or Microsoft teams. This interview will take around 30 minutes and will explore factors impacting sleep timing in a little more detail.

If you fit the criteria and would be interested in participating I would really appreciate it. If anyone you know outside the forum might be interested please also feel free to share the above link with them. Also, you can email me on rachael.kelly@mu.ie if you want any more details or have any questions. This study has been approved by @Josh DUK.

This has been approved. Please help if you can.

Thanks everyone for considering participating. I didn't actually realise that I could attach a picture when I uploaded the post so I am just attaching the flyer here with all the details. Have a lovely evening! Diabetes UK - Putting the social into social jetlag.PNG
