I’ve recently been diagnosed with a painful condition but noticed my blood sugars drop suddenly when I’m in extreme pain. Is this something that happens with pain management?

I’ve recently been diagnosed with a painful condition but noticed my blood sugars drop suddenly when I’m in extreme pain. Is this something that happens with pain management?

Often it is just the opposite and pain, infection, stress will increase blood glucose but I suppose everybody's response is different.
