Paid!

I've just got my copy of my consultants letter to my GP after my consultation with him and the pump nurse and alongside what it normally contains my test results, control etc... it's got a PAID score!

I've had a google, but can't find much out about it all apart from the lower the score the less impact it's having on me!

I know that before my appointment I was asked to fill out a questionnaire, but the nurse (health care duffer one) didn't explain to me what the questionnaire was about at all, so can only assume because the questions asked were based around feeling towards my diabetes, impact and how I found my treatment etc that this was linked to the PAID score!

Anybody got any more information about what on earth is PAID

Problem Areas In Diabetes is PAID.
So basicaly they were testing you to see if you are depressed about your diabetes.

Perhaps when I see my DSN at the surgery she might be able to enlighten me a bit lol

PAID is a mental health test to see if you need medical help to deal with your diabetes lowest score is 1 and highest is 5. So for some unearthly reason they think you are sane 😱

Aw, I'm really disappointed. I'm looking at my consultant's letter and I don't have a PAID score anywhere. I was really hoping to see what my sanity would be marked as on a 1-5 scale!
