So took my first dose last Thursday by Saturday morning I started with D&V which I have had on and off all week so today is my next dose if I inject in my thigh will the side effects be any better?

I have never taken this medication , but I would not have thought that the site of injection is likely to reduce the side effects.

Site only impacts speed it impacts you not the impact I believe

Do you have a way of getting in touch with your nurse or GP?

I take it and don't really see anything different than the usual metformin, so it does sound like it doesn't agree with you. I highly doubt changing where you inject is going to help I'm afraid.
