ILLEGAL workers and people with criminal records have been employed at Oxfordshire?s hospitals.
Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust has employed two illegal workers since 2010 and currently has 14 nursing staff with criminal records, Freedom of Information requests have revealed.
The trust employed an illegal immigrant as a linen room assistant at the John Radcliffe and a nurse at the children?s ward in the Horton General in Banbury.
The pair were discovered to be working illegally in 2012 and 2011, respectively, and were sacked.
