Happy Boxing Day all.

So the last couple nights I’ve had overnight highs, mid teens mainly.
I know they were down to a combination of the pizza effect, much later eating times, and inaccurate carb counting.
Certainly will not be beating myself up about it as it’s Christmas - but blimey it doesn’t half play on your mind at 4am when your really thirsty, finger test, then see that number 🙂
Any tips for this? I guess spilting your bolus to account for the pizza effect.

Anyway, another day of family gatherings and extra calories 🙂

I over bolused for the bubble and squeek yesterday, but was then caught out a little by the single malt tasting (father, brother-in-law and I were all bought bottles for Christmas so we had a dram of each - went to bed with a 7.7 and woke with a 12). I think a few days at this time of year where things are a little skewed causes a bit of stress, but no long term damage.
