oh dear just gave my son his novarapid pen instead of levimer
so just injected 10 and a half units whoops😱
 
He should be OK. Just keep a close eye on him for signs of hypo and have something on hand for him to eat/drink should his levels drop xx
 
I'd recommend doing a few blood tests every half hour or so until you're sure the novorapid has got past the peak. ANd tomorrow he may well be high due to lack of levemir presumably ?

yea he has had his levimer too now going to shop for some extra sweets
 
ooooh ive done that before, when im about to go to bed, at like 2am not really paying attention.
21units down the line im low ahahah
lots of sweets for him tonight!

yea he was ok this aint the first time he was getting a little sick of eating the chocolate though:D
done a check at 12:45am he was 4.2 so i said one more biscuit then go to sleep.
his mum got up and did a check at 2:30 whoops 27mmol😱 was not expecting that guess the insulin had ran out and the carbs were still working away.
oh well lesson learned until next time🙄
