You’ll have to ask your DSN to explain what she means. You used to correct over 8, your DSN told you only to correct over 12, you decided you weren’t happy going that high and now correct over 10 which is in between the two. Maybe she still thinks you are too obsessive should only correct over 12? Either that or your correction ratio is wrong and is dropping you too low, but if you aren’t hypoing after every correction then that probably isn’t true.
However, if you are happy doing what you are doing and it isn’t causing you undue anxiety or hypos or other problems, then carry on as you are.
