Tesco Northern Ireland colleagues are celebrating raising an incredible £500,000 for Diabetes UK since a partnership between the leading retailer and the charity started in March 2013.
The Ballymoney store alone raised nearly £27,000, the highest amount among the 50-plus Tesco stores in Northern Ireland.
The £500,000 is part of £15 million Tesco has raised across the UK through the National Charity Partnership and will help fund research into diabetes as well as supporting newly diagnosed people at Living with Diabetes Days.
