other types of Insulin

My nurse told me yesterday that she's gonna change the insulin I'm on when she gets back from her Hols..... Could anyone tell me what other forms of insulin are there please....

Hypo No2 overwith thank god dont wanna see that for a while again....

Jules off the top of my head, thinking of the most common insulins, she could be changing your background to Lantus or Levemir (not sure which one you're on at the mo) or your fast acting to Novorapid, Humalog or Apidra.

They are the synthetic insulins, I'm not too familiar with the animal insulins.
