THE dissolution of the South London Healthcare NHS Trust has been hailed as a ?good day for residents, patients and NHS staff?.
After running up ?150m debts, which were being added to at the rate of ?1.3m a week at one stage, the trust was put out of its misery at midnight on September 30.
And Orpington MP Jo Johnson says this is a good thing for his constituents as most of the borough?s hospital services will now be run by King?s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
