Hi all,

got appointment for yearly eyetest and Retinopathy scan Friday at 9am, must be the time of year for it, noticed lots of people got/had appointments recently. Fingers crossed all will be well for all 🙂

Hope all goes well Shirl 🙂 I had mine back in March, so nothing for me until November - I'm on 6-monthy scans as I'm still with the eye hospital.

Hope your retinal scan goes well. I had mine last Friday (June 3rd) and the nice lady said it looks OK but the results from tje hospital will tell the truth.

Thanks Northerner, hate going but would rather have a little bit of discomfort for a couple of minutes when drops go in, than the rest of my life without my sight!!

Thanks Kate, have had it done before so at least I know what to expect!! Drops always make my eyes sting horribly but that is because I have Dry Eye syndrome, hey, ho

Try putting some of your replacement tears in a few minutes before the drops. It might help.

I've got mine on Friday at 10.15am.I am so scared,I was told I had background ret last time.I see loads of cobwebs in my vision and some floaters.

Hi Daisy please try not to worry I had background retinopathy 20years' ago and the retinopathy is still background. I hope that it all goes well for you
