Karen I was thinking about you all of yesterday and hoping that everything would be ok. I am absolutely thrilled with your news, that has made my day xx I hope that you are going to celebrate

Thank you all so much!! I was so nervous as for some reason I had a feeling that this appt was going to be important - I just didn't know which way it would go and to be honest it hadn't even crossed my mind that I might be discharged!

I was there ages - it was excruciating! The one doctor was off sick and luckily I'd been put on the other docs list or it would have been cancelled. The clinic was so busy and they seemed to be struggling. The drops were done fairly quickly but the time went on and on - my appt was 11am. Finally a nurse came to tell us all that they were running late (!!) and to say if anyone wanted to go off and get a cuppa they could. I asked her roughly how long it would be and she said there was one gentleman in front of me but it would be at least another half an hour. Well it was ages before he went in and then I think he and the doc sat down for a 3 course meal or something..............it got to nearly 1pm and finally I went in.

The doc I saw is the main one and she takes her time and doesn't speak unless she has something to say! She drives me nuts because she looks at your eyes........not a word......she sits back at the desk.....not a word........she writes things down........looks things up.........gets the last lot of photos up and still says nothing! Then finally she speaks!!! Thank goodness it was good!

Amanda - I celebrated with a cherry scone for my tea!!

Thanks everyone for your support throughout the last two years with the laser treatment and all............much appreciated.x
