Our content team is reviewing our website information on preventing type 2 diabetes, ahead of updating it.

They’d like to chat to one or two people who have or have experienced prediabetes and trying to prevent type 2 diabetes including going on a type 2 prevention course.

And they’d also like to hear from one or two women who had gestational diabetes who are trying to prevent type 2 diabetes.

If anyone in this thread might be interested in having a chat with the Content team about these subjects please let me know via a direct message. Thanks!

Hi,

I have been struggling with pre-diabetes for 18 months and I await resuls from my latest test. I also went on a diabetes prevention cours maybe 3 years ago and it was 90 minutes X 10 weeks or so. It was helpful I think but it could have been done in less time. I felt they did not instill enough fear into my brain to make me change my ways. It wasn't until I was diagnosed with diabetes that I did something about it.
