Seems to depend where you live - in Coventry & Rugby CCG area, 'impossibility' is the correct word.

A lot of these things rely on each person funding the components of whatever they need. Was more than a tad gobsmacked when the Tslim rep said the Libre is just rubbish and if you wanted the Tslim pump to work properly - then you'd GOT to have a Dexcom.

Could it have been sales pitch?

She was supposed to be a Tslim rep not a Dexcom one. I went because I was genuinely interested in the Tslim and my DSN arranged the meeting because of that!

Until you get the sensors right, it doesn’t matter how small or clever the technology gets. And not a single respondent has addressed this issue, so if anyone would like to throw the sunlight of their optimism on that particular issue, I’d be more than pleased to hear it.

... Plus of course we are delivering insulin into the wrong place. and it acts far too slowly AND for far too long.

Having said that... my 90 day stats are pretty perky with over 90% Time In Range 4-10, and less brain space than any other sensor augmented pump than I’ve ever used - so my experience is that things are moving in the right direction despite the limitations.
