Can you share the link?Been having a wee look on the Diet Doctor website and have found a few nice cake recipes don't worry I will be trying out other recipes rather than just desserts but hey if I can have cake and eat it I will do just that haha 🙂 x
https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb there you go there's a lovely sounding recipe for Low Carb Molten Chocolate cake that I'm going to be trying out sometime, obviously it uses dark chocolate as it's lower carb and usually less sugar but if your daughters anything like I was at that age she might love dark chocolate 🙂 xCan you share the link?
My daughter has been told by the dentist that she needs to basically cut out sugar, shes only 6, seems harsh. Im trying to find things I can make which are still treats but not loaded with sugar.
Aww that's such a shame poor wee thing must be worse for her if her friends have like sweets, biscuits or cakesShes been having cheese and crackers for pudding every day at school, she said 'but I really love that chocolate cake, I wish I could have it' really upset me.
In fact, sugary things (apart from sugary drinks which are acidic too) are just part of the problem - anything with carbs will stick around in your mouth and get converted to acid and rot your teeth. High GI stuff in particular - bread, flour, crisps. Crisps are worse than chocolate apparently. I'd give her special dispensation as long as she brushes immediately afterwards, that's really the problem I suspect. Can you share the link?
