Un-be-lieeev-able!!!!😱

wow! these days I can't manage a burger bigger than the McD's happy meal ones! (although I can't even remember the last time I had one)

I just don't understand these eating things :(

Well this type of abuse of one's own health disproves the theory that accessible i.e free at the point of use healthcare- causes people to neglect their own health and that forcing us all pay the fulll cost or suffer will make us look after ourselves better and not get ill in the first place!

Last year the company ran a promotion offering a free meal to any customers, known to staff as 'patients', weighing over 25st.

well - ain't that responsible?

The guy who runs it was on Radio 4 this evening trying to defend it as though it's some sort of public service to help people understand obesity. It wasn't a very successful defence! 😱

If memory serves this gentleman suffered a massive myocardial infarction as opposed to an arrest. MIs come generally after many years of build up of risk factors. His general cardiovascular health must have been in quite poor shape prior to the meal. I'd say that it was more a matter of chance that he had the MI at the restaurant as it takes a little while for the damage that needs to be done for one of these to occur to happen.
On a side note, were the proprietor of that restaurant living and trading here in the UK he'd be accountable to the registering body for dieticians and would be in deep sh**.

Sorry but it does loomk tasty 🙂

Its a good job i dont live in america lol xx
