I find some magazines almost impossible to read when a very dark background is used.
Over the past decade or so, some dyslexic pupils have found using coloured backgrounds rather than white helpful in examinations - these scripts cannot then be scanned for online marking, but need to be marked as paper scripts in the old-fashioned way. My pet hate is blue pen on dark blue paper! It might help the candidate, but totally stresses out the poor examiner.

Hi Everyone happy new year i know i know im late just sobered up, i think i am the perfect candidate for this survey, being treated for it, il be on the highest spectrum loll.

Done it, and agree with pinemartingabout colour scheme. Black on white works a treat, why muck about with it.
Thanks Docb - I think I've changed the colour now so hopefully it'll be easier for others to read 🙂

Thanks Ingressus! It's great to get participants from lots of different backgrounds to help build up the bigger picture 🙂

Researchers at the University of Surrey are looking at the relationships between alcohol consumption and other lifestyle factors in people with Type 2 Diabetes.

We would like to invite people with Type 2 Diabetes to complete an online survey of around 15-20 minutes. The survey will ask questions about alcohol consumption, lifestyle behaviours, and psychological wellbeing. Participants must be aged 16 or over, living in the UK, and able to read and understand written English.

This study has been reviewed by and received a favourable ethical opinion from the University of Surrey’s Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences Ethics Committee.

Participating in this survey will give you the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win one of ten £20 Love2Shop vouchers.

Click here to access the survey!

For more information or any questions, please contact the lead researcher, Sophie Catt (s.catt@surrey.ac.uk).

(A copy of the Ethics Committee approval letter has been sent for approval to the forum team)
