I applied for this as a freebie.

Arrived yesterday - weeks after the online application.

Software quite good, but the hardware, especially the comsumables, just mince!!!

I'll stick with all my Accu Check meters - they are so user friendly.

Dad has bagged the Verio Pro as he is T2 and without a meter. With the 30 odd test strips it will last him a wee while.

Certainly would not recommend it to anyone and will be telling them that too.

Thanks for the heads up Hazel, i got a one touch easy a while ago and like you also disliked that so im sticking to my ever dependable freestyle lite...Hope your dad gets on well with it.

i notice it came with that finger pricker(one touch comforter)there amazing those are though, so so user friendly on your digits

I won't bother applying then Hazel 🙂 I've always been happy with my Accu chek aviva and it's the main one I have used for over 3 years now. I have a nano and two optium xceeds - got the xceeds for the ketone strips and also the blood strips are individually wrapped which means I don't need to take a pot out when running 🙂 I've always liked the look of the contour usb though - would be nice to have something that just plugged in rather than the infrared affair with the accucheks!
