... that never stops being funny to me is the odd places that blood test strips seem to end up!

When I've used them I always put them in the zip up pocket in my meter case and dispose of them all in one go every few days or so, however they always seem to crop up all over the house in the most strange places. Today I have just found one inside the foot of my tights, which I've been wearing all day!
So my question topday is does anyone else find test strips seem to get everywhere, and if so where is the strangest place you've found one?!

(I did spot one the other day in the park where I was running, I was quite excited to see someone else must lose them everywhere, unless of course I dropped it on an earlier visit!)

Guess what? I have also found one in the foot of my tights before :D That's quite funny.

Sometimes I find them in my bed...

All over the place really 🙄

Last week Alex's sister came home from college and said she knew Alex had been to the co-op - because she had spotted his test strip near the doorway! And he had 20 minutes before - and had to test as he had had a hypo - but i swear we put it in his bag of stuff - i really dont know how it got on the floor!:confused:Bev

Haha... yes they do get absolutely everywhere! I can't think of anywhere particularly strange though... Haven't quite had one inside my tights though!

In the past I have found test strips all over the place, even one in the loft once!😱

I have also noticed some in the street - but am pretty certain they are NOT mine.

I now have 2 sharps boxes one at work (supplied by work) and one at home supplied by my local council, so my strips go straight in the boxes now.

However, if I am away from home I now keep a small freezer bag, the zippy type, and put my strips and used needles in the bag and empty it into one of my sharps boxes - fingers crossed I am not finding strips around the house anymore.🙂

Perhaps they are the modern day equivalent of the wire coat hanger... able to mutate and get into places we wouldn't think possible.

Best be careful though, with the new litter legislation you could get a ?2,000 fine for littering!

I have one dried perminantly into my wall (?). When i was decorating about 2 years ago(ironically called Dulux "Cookie Dough") it must have got in with the roller somehow, I didnt notice it till after it had dried the same colour as the new paint. Perhaps I should just put a frame round it?!

Always I see them in the cylinder of the dyson but I never seem to knowingly hoover them up.

It must be some kind of magic......

I woke up and found I was lying on one the other day. What I find all over the place more than used test strips is the plastic covers for needles (and the little piece of paper).

There is a plastic cap on the hallway outside my flat, my girlfriend spotted it and we are going to see how long it stays there (communal areas are meant to be cleaned). What is painful is standing on these plastic caps!
