As the sun is out thought I would do some work on the new bike, things not going right, so stopped as also feeling off colour. Checked my levels and 19.5 :( :( 3 hours 15 mins later thought must check oil etc on the car, felt shaky with a thick head, so checked again and 4.4.

Another roller coaster day, sometimes one does get peed off with the D. :(

Blimey Pav...that was certainly was a roller coaster...not surprised you're peed off...how are you now...hope those levels have balanced.

Touch wood got the levels fairly stable at 8.9, still feel yuk though with a thick head.

Certainly better...try drinking lots of water...possibly a bit dehydrated?...and no more mechanics...for a while anyway.

Drinking fluids left right and centre, def don't feel like doing much at the moment.

Definitely can be a rollercoaster. 🙄 Not normally anything too bad about a 4.4 unless you're used to high levels or it's a quick drop. Any explanation for the 19.5?

Had a ice cream, which I have had before and not gone up that high, past few weeks with the heat it's been a pain, fluctuating between the 4.0's and 12.0's. With me the rapid drop does knock me about a bit. The 12.0's are pretty good for me been trying to sort levels out for ages.

Your HbA1c is not that bad considering. I was once told by my DN with an HbA1c of 56 - 'you're not having too many hypos are you'. 🙄 I suppose in this case it depends what you were before you had the ice cream.

Never checked before the ice cream, one to add to the check before and after to see what the effects are. Much prefer it when my HbA1c is around the 44 region, felt a lot better. Just checked the meters log and have had 2 hypos of 3.5 and 3.6 at the beginning of June prior to that not had a hypo for years, meds were changed recently by the hospital even after telling them I don't react very well to gliclazide.

Hope you manage to get things sorted. 🙂

Looks like the night is going pear shaped. Chicken jalfrazi and naan bread for tea, should of sent me a tad high. Nope already going down at 6.7 and was another 8.9 before tea at half 7.

If it was stable between the 8.9 and the 4.4, I would be well happy.

Looks like I might be seeing the new practices DN sooner than later.
