One in three children in the borough are obese or overweight by the time they are just 11 years old, according to a report released by Haringey Council and the NHS.
The public health report also reveals the problem is far more likely to affect children living in the east of the borough than in the more affluent west.
Obesity remains a serious concern for young children in the borough, with one in five children aged between four and five being overweight or obese.
