Hi
I have recently changed from Medtronic 640g pump to the Omnipod dash
does anyone else have an issue getting through to customer care despite it being 24hrs you can wait anything up to an hour or more for call to be answered. Email not much better still waiting for a reply to email sent 4 days ago!! Issue I have is pods have such a short life that will expire before 3month supply runs out.
Also can someone tell me if it is normal for some condensation to form near the cannula inside the small clear dome at the end of the rounded end of the pod?

Hi Wendy. I’ve not had delays getting thru to Customer Care. And, yes, I get condensation inside the clear dome.
 
Hi @Wendybeal same as @Bloden for me, no issues getting through, granted I’ve only called twice in 6 months but have gotten straight through both times. The condensation is normal, it’s just the heat from your body that causes it.

Why are they not lasting the full 3 days? Does it show an error? Problems sticking to the skin?
 
Get through fine to them on phone, no more than few minutes wait. You should get 3x10 boxes of pods each time which last 3 months, so if they ask you how many boxes you need say 3, any issues with pods in-between they will replace them.

Been using Dash since it arrived here & been Omnipod user for past 10 years.

Hi thanks for your reply I have had a couple of alarms which say contact customer services immediately which I now know is not as urgent as it sounds as it was a couple of faulty pods which were replaced but at the time was a bit traumatic as had no idea what to do! so just went back to old pump until resolved now I know just to replace pod.
Other issue was the 3 boxes ordered should last me until end Jan
but expiry dates are 30/12/23. Which they are dealing with now.
