I received this from my hospital DSN today:

"Currently, the Omnipod DASH pump does not link with any CGM to provide a Hybrid Closed-Loop Technology.

However, we are expecting the Omnipod 5 to be launched at the end of this year/beginning of next year which will provide a Hybrid Closed-Loop system with Dexcom G6/G7.

Omnipod have suggested that people currently on the Omnipod DASH will be offered an upgrade to Omnipod 5 when it is released. However, we won’t know the time-scale or roll out of this until much nearer the time."

So not a lot more than we already knew, except the suggestion from Omnipod that existing Dash users will get the upgrade.

Ooo, v interesting @m1dnc. I’m starting the Dash at the end of June - good to know.

Exciting times @m1dnc

Do you know which CGM(s) will be supported?

The DSN referred only to Dexcom G6/G7, but I've heard other references to Abbott. I think the collaboration between Omnipod and Dexcom goes back a couple of years, and the FDA approval is for Omnipod 5/Horizon with G6. I don't recall seeing anything yet about CE approval.
